Due to restrictions and challenges in general with the COVID-19 Pandemic, there will not be an event planned for the 2021 year. We welcome you to revisit some of the videos of awesome talks from previous years.

About TEDxIdahoFalls

TEDxIdahoFalls is an all-volunteer staffed, non-profit organization. Our event relies on the sponsorship of partners and general admission sales. Your ticket purchase helps cover hard costs such as the venue, printing, advertising, and helps us continue to bring enriched dialogue to the Eastern Idaho, Exposing, Exploring and Expanding the minds of our community.

TEDxIdahoFalls is proud of our 53 passionate speakers since our first event in 2014, with over 1,800 people attending our live events, nearly 4 million viewers online, and the dedicated group of volunteers that make it happen every year. We look forward to continue to share Idaho Falls' ideas worth spreading.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxIdahoFalls, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxIdahoFalls event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Good Job Everyone

I think the topics are timely, sometimes surprising in what they impart, and over all very interesting, entertaining and informative. Good job everyone! Wish I had the ability to give a talk.

Inspiring

It was so inspiring! I will definitely go again.

Fascinating Material

All of the speakers were very well prepared, and presented fascinating material in a compelling way.

I Was Wrong

This event exceeded my expectations. I love listening to Ted talks via the podcast app. I wasn’t expecting the local event to have as high of calibre speakers and topics as national talks, but I was wrong. I left the event feeling inspired and better informed.

I Felt Inspired

I had such a great time at this thought provoking event! I wish I would have gone to the prior 3 years. The event was well organized and moved quickly. All the talks were great and I took something away from each one. I definitely felt inspired when I left the event!
