We Are Actively Preparing For Our 2020 Event!

About TEDxIdahoFalls

TEDxIdahoFalls is an all-volunteer staffed, non-profit organization. Our event relies on the sponsorship of partners and general admission sales. Your ticket purchase helps cover hard costs such as the venue, printing, advertising, and helps us continue to bring enriched dialogue to the Eastern Idaho, Exposing, Exploring and Expanding the minds of our community.

TEDxIdahoFalls is proud of our 53 passionate speakers since our first event in 2014, with over 1,800 people attending our live events, nearly 4 million viewers online, and the dedicated group of volunteers that make it happen every year. We look forward to continue to share Idaho Falls’ ideas worth spreading.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxIdahoFalls, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxIdahoFalls event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Past Attendee Testimonials

I love hearing from the different speakers and learning new things from them.

I loved it! I’ll be back, for sure! Real people sharing real experiences! Awesome!

The speakers were passionate and the topics were timely for our day.

I loved it… I love hearing others ideas, especially when it can evoke emotion (mainly laughter). I want my friends and family to experience this… That is why I chose 10!

Every speaker had a message for me. I enjoyed it very much! Thank you.

The Tedx talks open up your mind which allows you approach the world from a different perspective.

It gets better every year. The speakers are engaging and interesting, and the topics though provoking. That it is held right here, for such a modest price, is fantastic.

I originally questioned my commitment when I discovered that it was going to be a 4 hour endeavor, but when it ended I couldn’t believe it was already over. I felt very enlightened and thought they put on a great show.

It was a thought-provoking and engaging afternoon. Many topics and ideas were presented and it allowed people to connect and communicate with one another. The world needs more TedX in their lives.

This event was the most influential and confidence building TEDx I’ve attended. Many of the speeches helped me and made me feel better about myself.
